In the first hectic days following the mudslide slide in Oso Washington, the specific news regarding those impacted was sketchy. But unfortunately that did not last for long.
We are therefore writing to report that one of our industry colleagues, Jessica Lutz, CMCA, AMS, has been directly impacted by this catastrophic event.Jessica, who is a long-term Association Manager for The CWD Group in Seattle, learned that her sister Katie, together with Katie's husband Shane, were at home with their children, Hunter and Wyatt, and Shane's parents, Lewis "Lou", and Judee Vandenburg, when the slide occurred Saturday morning. All of them remain unaccounted for at this writing.

In order to assist Jessica and her family, an account has been established at US Bank in the name of “Ruthven-Vandenburg Family Relief Fund.” Any US Bank branch can accept donations, but should there be an issue in locating the established account, please tell the bank clerk to contact Cheryl Huggins at the Smokey Point-Arlington office at 360.653.5313 for assistance.
